Everyone here from management to aids to cleaning staff is wonderful, caring, and polite. When I leave my aunt I can go home and rest knowing she is well cared for. I would recommend Spring Village to all my friends.
We feel very fortunate that our sister was able to receive a room at Spring Village. The care residents were given throughout the pandemic was exceptional. Staff was helpful to us at all times and we were well informed when problems arose. The surroundings at spring village were pleasant and feel like home.
This residence has been a blessing for both my mother and father-in-laws. The staff is dedicated, kind, and compassionate.
It feels very welcoming and very homey. It is nicely decorated and doesn't feel ultra modern. It feels very homey when you walk in and is beautifully decorated. The people are great. They all know each other by first name because it is not a big place, and for her, who is not a super outgoing person, it is really great. They come and invite her whenever they are having an event. They stop over at her room and say, "Would you like to come? We are doing a little concert now," or whatever it is. I think she needs that little extra push to be social because it is not in her nature. She is better with one-on-one than with groups of people, so it is nice for her. The food is delicious. She is pretty happy with the food, and she is quite picky. You can request special food if you really need or want something, and they always have alternatives on the menu. They are great. They lent her a wheelchair and walker because we don't have one yet and they could even lend her furniture until she gets her permanent furniture in there. She went for a little while just to test it out, but she is very happy and it looks like she is going to stay.
Friendly staff, clean, great nurses
My mother-in-law is moving into Spring Village at Danbury. We chose this place because of its accessibility, cost, and because the staff were caring. They offer interactive activities, and they were very informative and helpful during the tour. There's a small outdoor area for them, and the rest of the inside is clean. They have a salon, and a separate community area for classes, projects, and cooking. It's going to be close to the rest of us, and we can visit her, plus she's familiar with Danbury.
Excellent, kind people, responsive, good care
We chose Spring Village at Danbury because there are only 48 apartments so I feel that the residents get more personalized attention since there are less people living there. There is more one on one care and the communication from the staff has been great. I am usually able to speak to someone right away whenever I call up there which is not the case at most larger facilities. I would recommend Spring Village to other families.
Caring staff, sometimes confused communications. All in all I feel that my loved one is well taken care of. This location has 2 floors, assisted living is on the first floor. The director was very accommodating as our needs changed. They have had some inconsistency with caregivers.

Our families experience has been excellent so far, it is a smaller community so the staff are able to stay in touch with you easier. Our loved one is getting very good care there. We really like the interaction with the directors, and the entire staff team. They are very involved with the residents and easily accessible.
